Old debt not showing

Hello! My husband took out a loan several years ago, he then took out DMP with step change. Got into a better financial position and so paid a lot off and wanted to pay direct to the lender for the loan.
On the credit club experien credit file this debt doesn't show despite him still paying this back, the step change repayment doesn't show either. Is this because it is longer than 6 years since he took out the plan?

Thanks for any advice! He is a financial associate on my report and we would like to apply jointly for things on the future. Don't want it creeping up in a credit check

Comments

  • Accounts will cease showing 6 years after he defaulted.

There are 3 CRAs to which it may have been reported, so don't just rely on Experian.
