have not used it for many years, but FileHippo. It did not do drivers, just apps0

In most instances, "out of date" software which still works correctly could be treated like sleeping dogs, by leaving well alone.
Never versions might offer more features, but do you necessarily want them?0 -
Kaspersky does this0

NiLite has a list of some common programs, just pick what you want and then run the NiLite program every once in a while.

This being said any decent piece of software keeps itself up to date automatically...0 -
I usually find whatever antivirus software I'm using has an option to do this. It's certainly an option with Avast & Avira. Not automatic, the updater has to be run manually, at least in the free versions, but running it once a week or month would offer the option to update anything not already done automatically.0

Sumo for software and Dumo for drivers. The free versions just do the checking and the shareware paid versions do automatic update or download.

I use Filehippo and it is free and works fine. Doesn't do drivers though.0

Secunia was taken over by Flexera several years ago, but I think the product still exists:For a program that will look for any software and programs that are out of date and keep them up to date, used to have one called secunia at one time but it now appears to be no longer available, anyone got any ideas T.I.A,

I'm not sure how (or if) it differs from the Secunia PSI that I currently still use.Stompa0 -
