is there any company or agency that will look for everyone you owe money to?

i have just received an email within the last few days off talk talk saying i owe £500+ so i log in to my account and speak to someone online, i haven't been with talk talk for bout 2 years the agent said its £500+ because i was still in a contract when i apparently left and was in contract until last spring told them i had no clue about this until now i didn't even no what debt collectors my account is with, (i've moved since this account) is there such a way of finding out if there are other accounts like this i'm not aware of, i am going to CAB next week.

Cant be Credit experian since they dont exist.
Do you kean credit expert ?

There's Experian ( accessed via MSE credit club) ?
Equifax (clearscore) ?
Or Call credit (Noddle)


Not everyone will report to all 3 agencies, some will report to just 2 or just 1.

Why did you leave TalkTalk mid contract ?

as far as i was aware i left at the end of the contract i've had nothing off talk talk since this month so its been over 18 months since i left with no letters or emails off them or anyone

Ah my bad, you say you had been with TT for 2 years so maybe out of contract anyway.

Check your file at the other 2 agencies.

Maybe rry a complaint too.

Was this broadband or mobile contract. When you say you left, did you ensure there was nothing owing and if they required notice period duly served it? Sometimes contracts get renewed, e.g. you have phoned up and they've offered extra minutes an upgrade or something similar that's started a new contract. You need to find out what the £500 is for, e.g. any Early Termination Fee, or is it airtime bills.
