Samsung J5 2016 Not able to send text msg

HI can anyone advice why I am not able to send the above on the phone have the allowance on my package able to get im via Facebook

    A "not able to send text" notification typically means you have no mobile signal where you are. The ability to get on Facebook is immaterial as you can get that when you're on Wifi connected to your home network.

    If you normally don't have issues texting (and you have credit) then this is usually a temporary problem that will clear itself shortly.

    What outgoing message settings do you have?

    Hi I have been using it for over 1 year no issues only started yesterday

    Have you only tried from one location? If so, go somewhere else and try again, it may be an issue with the mast serving your location. [I have no idea if this is technically a possibility, but it's an easy thing to try]

    Well considering you didn't see fit to mention that in your original post, I'm sorry my telekinetic powers were a bit below par last night.

    Which network are you on? Have you checked their service status pages for your area?
