tiny cracks in newly plastered wall

we had the lounge plastered last month and as I was checking it ready to paint its first mist coat, I noticed several really thin cracks in the new plaster, I've used the same guy for years (he's worked on 3 of our houses over the years) but this is the first time I've noticed any cracks in new plaster
Is it normal? And is there anything I can do before painting them?

Yes, ours are the same in similar circumstances. Very hard to avoid first time round. We are going to get the painter back in a year or two, you can only see it if you are looking really carefully.0

Just prepare the wall for painting as you would normally do, filling and sanding any slight imperfections and thin cracks. Repeat after the mist coat if necessary.0
