The marantz mcr 611 ? Does all of that .
Yes, those are the speakers I had ( in white ).

I nearly bought the marantz myself when I moved into a smaller flat but got a decent cabinet and kept my seperates instead . Reviews are good .
You could spend a lot on ceiling speakers , but tbh the sound from those are good. They take a while to get used to the sound , as with most speakers . Just get some Speaker cable ( I use we’d 79strand) and Off you go .

Yes, £30 more:(
However if you were to get this , you wouldn’t need a spitter.
Plus the speakers I mentioned are cheaper . So, not much in it at all.

Actually a whole £2 or £10 if you get the Marantz in black and depending on which Maplin speaker switch you would have choosen (but not needed with the Marantz) if you add the cost of it to the Denon's price.

As for speaker cable and cheap Ebay ceiling speakers just use any cheap cable the speakers are hardly Hi-Fi.

So ... with my OP I wanted Denon system with Evoson speakers and a Maplin switch and now you guys want me to get something completely different!!!!!!!!!!

OK - will do as I'm told ..... but, of course, someone else will be along in a while with another different suggestion!!!

As we are doing holiday lets (as well as going there ourselves), then the idea of one less 'bit' for someone to mess with sounds a good idea.
