Winter Wonderland Disaster

I purchased tickets for a Winter Wonderland event organised in Bangor in NI. The whole event turned into an unmitigated disaster amid public outcry on social media and the event was cancelled with all parties promised refunds on their tickets. I received an email on the 18 Dec staying my refund had been processed but having checked my credit card statement this does not appear to have been the case. Very few, if any, of the 1000’s 0f people who purchased tickets for this week long event have received their refunds. Many have noted refunds pending on PayPal accounts only to have them then cancelled and communication from the organisers is scant and contradictory at best. I contacted my cc company who were of little use (I suspect because my purchase was <£100). I a wondering what the best course of action would be at this stage as the suspicion is that the refunds will not be processed as promised!
Many thanks

For <£100 you ask your c company for a chargeback.0 -
As Sheramber says, seek a chargeback from your card issuer.
You might want to read MSE's Chargeback article before doing anything though.
I think you'll find your card issuer will be reluctant to do anything until fourteen days have passed.0
