Is there an Alaskan thread I should be looking at? If not has anyone got tips on flights from London to Anchorage, probably June. Is it worth stopping off somewhere for even a day, since it looks like there are no direct flights? The cheaper flights seem to have long gaps in US airports 10 hrs was one option in DFW. Or a stop in Seattle on the return trip was a take off at 01.15 landing at 06.17, then a delay until the LHR flight in the afternoon. Solo traveller.

I have not looked a Alaska since I became old . Japanair used to route via Anchorage but not any more.
Cheapest way now would be Thomas Cook to Seattle then Alaskan to Anchorage leaving a day in Seattle each way to cover the risks of using 2 carriers.0 -
Icelandair fly direct from Reykjavik to Anchorage in June, but not daily.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0
