Dyson or vax?

Options
My vax has decided to call it a day unfortunately. It's an upright which I want and sucked will on our carpet which was great to, but the down side is the extendable option for doing cobwebs or places it could not get into was terrible.
Looking to get a dyson roller ball which are now on offer and seem to have all the ticks and was wondering compared to the vax how good they are?

  • I’ve never owned a Dyson but know a few people who have. General feedback is that they’re a good product priced as a great product.

I do own a Vax and have been really impressed with it and with Vax’s customer service. I’ve had two parts wear out inside the six year guarantee and on both occasions they sent me replacement parts without any questions.
  • I liked my vax, but like I said the major flaw is the extendable pioe on it which is so limited and a pain in the bum lol
  • Dyson and Vax share joint bottom place for reliability in the Which survey. Numatic came top.
  • Seen the shark ones which got good reviews but to new of a make for me to consider one for the price of them.

I think you can buy several Vax machines for the price of one Dyson,we have a Vax upright and does everything it should do.
  • We've had both and prefer Vax. They both do similar jobs but Vax is far cheaper and so better value for money.
  • I liked our vax, but they are so poorly designed when it comes to using the extention bits and become a nightmare to use.

I find that my Dyson is also useless with the extension.

We recently bought a cordless vacuum for a quick whizz around -also useless, it’s a Hoover. DIL has a brilliant Electrolux one, which we should have bought,

  • Seen the new model of dyson roller ball on offer £199 and YouTube reviews and it looks good.

    for £200 you can get

    Vax Upright

    for the floors

    AND

    VAX cordless

For quick run-arounds and the hard to reach places

Dyson are good, but for the price you can get better solutions
