Help with Vax Steam Cleaner!!!!!

Hi. I have a Vax - S85-CM Steam Clean Multi Steam Mop and I have larger Ceramic tiles across the whole of my downstairs. I have underfloor heating as well. I was previously using normal floor cleaners with a sponge and a microfibre cloth to clean my floors and I have always struggled with having a horrible 'greasy' look on the tiles. So I brought my steam cleaner hoping it would fix the problem and actually be easier and quicker to clean the floors. Well I cleaned the floor with just water to try and get off any old products on the tiles and used my steam cleaner. It left horrible water marks across the whole floor and when using the steamer itself it leaves quite a wet path behind, which I'm not sure is normal? I have been told that we have hard water in our area so I filled up my steamer with bottled water and it does the same thing. The water marks are horrible and there isn't a spot where there isn't a horrible water mark.
Can anybody please help me??? I'm going insane and feeling rather deflated from cleaning continuously and not getting anywhere!
