Isle Of Syke

Hi Guys

Can anyone recommend a hotel or B&B around the Isle Of Skye, preferbly with some pub/s nearby and has a car park for the motorbike. Been looking at Plockton Inn but is going to work out £270.00 for me and the Hubby for 3 nights :eek: , was looking for a bit cheaper if poss....
any help would be great.:T

    Portree would be your best bet for facilities & a good base - although we also stayed in Broadford where there were some hotel bars....they don't really have 'pubs' as such and although Broadford is beautiful the hotel bars were definitely lacking in atmosphere. I think we also used the website above.

    We stayed here in August:

    It's in Kyleakin, which is on the east side of the island, where the Skye Bridge comes over from the mainland. There is a small car park plus other off-road parking, and there are a couple of pubs just up the road.

    The hotel is really nice, the owners are lovely and the breakfast was fantastic.
