Britannia Parking Tickets x 2

Hi all
I'll not add to many specifics below, having read the posts about PPC's using this forum - so please say if you need more information from me.
I've received two letters from Britannia for apparently over-staying at a local car park.
The first letter was actually a final reminder - I never received an initial letter from them.
This one states that the parking contravention was on 25th November....so not that long ago, and they have already contacted the DVLA for my details.
The second letter parking contravention was on 9th December....and again they have my details (presumably from the first one from November)
I thought that the Creditor or its agent can't make an application to the DVLA for my name and address EARLIER than 28 days after the vehicle was parked?
I have appealed both of these tickets to Britannia (using the text from the newbie guide) and will await the POPLA appeal.
Is there anyting else I can be doing in the meantime please?
Thank you

Just wait to hear from the PPC, they will no doubt reject it
as it's all part of the scammers charter

you are correct if there was a windscreen ticket
you are INCORRECT for an ANPR incident (or handheld camera with no windscreen ticket to the driver)
the PPC Has 6 months to obtain details from the DVLA
Typically this means that for anpr incidents they will obtain details asap and issue an NTK in the post within 14 days, this is if they wish to invoke keeper liability against the keeper for the drivers actions (where the drivers details are not known to them)
if they fail to get the NTK to the keeper by day 15 , they fail POFA2012 and the keeper cannot be held liable
so it seems you have not digested the information properly, despite the law being over 5 years old
if appeals were made as keeper , wait for popla codes
and yes complain to the retailer0 -
ah, ok - thanks for clarifying - having re-read it, that is clear.
they do seems of have missed off some of the POFA wording, so hopefully i can appeal successfuly0 -
if they fail POFA2012 in any way , shape or form then as KEEPER , as long as you appeal as keeper, you can win on the grounds of no keeper liability
this includes getting the NTK to you by day 15 following an incident
blab about the driver and POFA2012 no longer apples and they can pursue the driver with as much vigour as they like
hence why a keeper stays as keeper for postal invoices , but must still go through all the motions until its cancelled, even if popla does it for you0
