I won a pair of Osiris shoes back in August and they still haven't turned up. I've sent 5 very polite emails and have been told that they're looking into it. I know everyone else seems to get their shoes after about a week.

Then TWO MONTHS ago I won a case of lager from the Sun and despite 4 very polite emails nothing has turned up. You guessed it, they're looking into it.

Does anyone have any ideas what I can do? I suspect the lager was drunk long ago but I would like my Osiris shoes.

Its harder to ignore or give excuses to a "face to face" conversation than it is an email

Thanks Kipper, unbelievably I've just this minute received an email promising that the shoes will be sent out this week!!!!

Now, where's the beer to celebrate???

It's just a shame to win something and then have to virtually beg for your prize.

Most of the time its not the company/website who run the comp (ie The Sun) that are to blame, its the PR companies that are giving them the prizes to promote the products who are a bit slack.

Lol, think yourself lucky, I had to wait from February to last Saturday for my years supply of persil and some cuddly toys! Least they arrived in the end!

just received my rough guide after a few emails but this was a genuine hold up and was sorted. I think the odd email and call is in order if things don't turn up. Hope the beer arrives as well.

I did have a similar problem, and I did hassle on a regular basis, like an email per week, and finally I received my prize after a few months of hassling, so don't give up. Keep on calling or emailing them and hopefully your prize will be despatched to you soon. Let us know x

I'm waiting for a prize from July too! Have been in contact with two people from the pr company giving the prize. I have been assured that it was posted the week before last and that its down to royal mail that i haven't had it! Think i'm going to be ringing sometime this week to find out whats happening. good luck with getting your prizes
