tv or internet issue?

My Panasonic smart tv keeps dropping its connection to the internet.
When testing the connection it confirms connection from tv to router is ok but connection from router to internet isn't
Clearly there is no issue with my router connecting to the internet as I am using it to post this.
The only way to re-connect everything is to turn off both devices and start again which is getting to be a pain to do regularly.
Does the issue lie with the TV (not much I can do about that, its out of warranty) or the internet provider?
Thanks

Nothing to do with the internet provider.
Set a static IP address on the TV, use 8.8.8.8 as the DNS server address.

I have changed the DNS to 8.8.8.8
Its working at the moment, time will tell if its a permanent fix
thanks for your help
EDIT: just seen your advise about setting static IP address as well. I am not sure how to do this? how do I know what IP address to pick? (is it the one that is the router access address? - its listed on the tv under default gateway, the IP address on the tv is different)0 -

Give an ethernet cable a try.
Re static IP is the option not under connection settings, it might just be a box you have to tick.0
