Hi,
Looking to get a new intergrated oven because ours is on the way out and needs replacing. The oven was already there when we bought our house so we are not sure where it was bought from.
Looking at the new ones, I can see that the size of the ovens are bigger than the one we have got, because ours is a 56lt and seen nice ones which are 71lt. The dimensions going by our old ovens manual looks around the same, but can't understand how the oven capacity is bigger? Anyone got advice in this please and am I going about this the wrong way dimensions wise.
Thanks

If the dimensions are the same it will fit . Modern materials men bigger ovens on some models
Straight swap you can easily do yourself with a screwdriver as long as it has a cooker switch to isolate . Loads of YouTube videos showing how
Or Ao.com etc will fit and remove the old oneEx forum ambassador

It's the exterior dimensions that are important, you need one that fits your gap!
The interior cavity varies due to the design of the inside, some have more wasted space between the outside of the oven and the sides, some have a lower top etc.
You can have any capacity as long as the exterior dimensions fit.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -

I measured the front of my oven and it's the same dimensions as the ones I'm looking at. Depth is different that's all, but I can measure this before buying0

Yes, but make sure you actually buy one that can be plugged in, not all can. It's often a filter option when searching online, but make sure you read the description properly to be sure.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
^^^ yes most ovens have high power. If you need to run yours from a 13Amp socket you need to get one that will not draw more current than that i.e. 3kwatt or less. Ensure that is specified to the supplier.
Otherwise you will probably need a wiring upgrade.0
