    I think £100 for the dealer taking it off the market for what I imagine will nigh on a fortnight is cheap.

    The dealer could argue breach of contract, admin, loss of value etc etc.

    If the OP has been in there accusing them of theft, etc, maybe they just decided that he'd be a customer they were happy to do without.

    Car prices usually rise in January too. Maybe they priced it cheaply to get it gone?
