High view parking ticket in Scotland

Hi all,
I have read up on the newbies post and would like to ask if the following still applies.

(If in Scotland/NI:

Apart from (of course!!) complaining to the landowner/retailer you should IGNORE your fake PCN unless you are not the registered keeper and that is a company (hire car or leased/company vehicle).*

You are safe to ignore because there is no worthwhile appeals process - do not believe what the fake PCN says! This Watchdog video still applies in Scotland and NI because a PPC has to know who was driving (unlike in England/Wales now.

WHEN IGNORING IN SCOTLAND/NI, KEEP ALL LETTERS. DO NOT THROW THEM AWAY.)

Other forums talk about a recent court case tried in Scotland and won by the parking firm.

Previous occupier received the pnc and a letter from Tesco’s 50 days after the event, and they have since moved so this is no longer their home address.
How should I/they reply to prevent further letters and my address possibley becoming highlighted on a credit check.

Thanks

  • Nothing will come up on a credit check. It’s an invoice. Nothing more.

That post was updated on the fifth of November this year. Why would it retain old information?

The date of any or most recent update is at the bottom of every post on that thread - So you have no need to ask,

The case in Scotland you will have heard about is where someone parked where they shouldn't have and kept doing it over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.
The driver's identity was also revealed.

The advice in the NEWBIES is kept up to date as already advised.

I'm intrigued by the letter from Tesco. I think that is unusual.

Make sure the Keeper's new details have been passed to the DVLA for licence and vehicle, separately.

The former keeper should send notification of their new address to the scammers, from Oz.

After that, ignore anything and everything unless pigs fly or real court papers arrive in the UK.

Second one about Highview and the Tesco Letter ??

Now in Australia, do not send any correspondence
to this address to avoid harassment

Copy the Tesco letter to the CEO of tesco for
    comfirmation

    Tesco Plc

    CbGSu8MT_normal.jpgMr Dave Lewis Chief Executive
    Email dave.lewis@uk.tesco.com

Maybe Tesco are now going into the scammers
parking industry and Highview will be selling food ??

If it's Highview, just use the sticky thread's registered keeper appeal template and it will be cancelled, whether the land was in England, Wales or Scotland.

    :)
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
