Cheapest Apple Mac

Best reccomendation is the Mac mini (especially if he has a pc at the moment). They start at £399, and are cheap because you only get the hub. He will have to have his own monitor, mouse and keyboard. Hense if he has a pc he no longer wants he can pinch these items from them.
Hope this helps

Thanks for everyones comments and help. In the end our other son who is at uni bought a new one and sold the old one to our younger son.
We phoned Apple direct and got the mid range Mac with an upgraded 2 gig memory and ipod for around £800 and something pounds. We have to claim back for the ipod though.
We think we got a good deal.0
