Applying for card between jobs

Hi,
I'm looking to apply for a credit card (0% purchases) but am between jobs. I already have my new job signed but don't start until mid-jan. So do I enter my previous salary in applications or my new salary even though I haven't had my first paycheck yet?
Thanks!

  • You can't enter what you no longer get OR what you don't yet have, so I would suggest waiting until you have been paid a few times by new employer.

In the employment section, the Lloyds application form asks "When did you start working for this employer?"

And Tesco ask "When did you start your current job?"

How will you answer those questions? And bear in mind the answer you give now will have to be maintained throughout all future credit applications.
