+1 for the Kia Rio. I bought a new Rio 3 in November and it has all the bells and whistles (some not really necessary - heated steering wheel?) you could possibly expect at the price, and is roomy, very easy to drive, comfortable, and above all has a seven year warranty.I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.0

The Meriva is slightly bigger, but might be worth a look, as it has configurable back seats. Also the B-max which is mentioned above. But a banker, engaged at enormous expense,Had the whole of their cash in his care.

Just paid deposit on 2015 Skoda Fabia. Picking up on Monday.
It had plenty of room in the back for a rear facing seat - even our really big one fit. It wouldn't work for extended rear facing I.e. Past 2 years old. unless your front passenger had incredibly skinny legs.
But was really really easy to put the car seats and child in - the doors open to 90 degrees.
Very refined inside, quiet and comfy. Felt like a much bigger car than it is. Boot easily big enough for our pram with space to spare, so should be fine with double buggy.
All in all very pleased - can't wait to pick it up!Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
Savings target June 18 - £22,281.99 / £25,0000 -
Be wary of AUdi automatics. They say they are a premium band but the Mechatronics units fail and cost £1500 to replace. Search for comments on other forums.0
