Oh wow, 3 days to go and you are all sorted! The day before my wedding I was buying flowers, family friend was still making alterations to my outfit 20 hours before the wedding and we were setting up the craft table in the venue for the kids (I was still cutting out masks templates etc for thd kids on the day of the wedding and driving them round to the venue). My mum insisted I stayed in the family home the night before, we were rushed off our feet on the day .. hubby was looking for stuff to do and cleaned the car and the oven just to fill time. Turned out he did not even iron his own shirt as the best man took over as he was making such a hash of it - due to nerves. I was too busy for nerves and had about 7 mins to get ready before the car arrived.

Hopefully your day will be more relaxed before the main event. Good luck to you and marleyboy.

I'm not really sorted! I just haven't listed the panicky stuff - main one is whether the flowers will be sorted, as the florist supplier doesn't have ranuncununcununculas in the right colour now, so we've had to swap to something else. But I have a close friend doing my flowers so I have every faith that she'll choose something appropriate for me (i.e. not polished :D)

    Three days to go!!

Everything is in place. Dress has been ironed, as has Marley's shirt. He's polishing his shoes tonight. I'm definitely going to need the bolero jacket I bought, looking at that weather forecast (and an umbrella).

    Pick up MIL tomorrow.
Pick up cake early Monday. Lunch with all parents on Monday afternoon.
Pick up flowers early Tuesday (Northern Rail willing!)
    Dodge raindrops, get married.
    Eat lunch.
    Eat cake, drink bubbly.
Read MSE article about married couple tax allowance, go onto HMRC website, complete form.

    Sound about right?

    Sounds perfect.

I hope all goes marvellously and perfectly for you both and you manage to be sent a rainbow instead of rain.

    Squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

And it's dry so no brollies :):) :):):)

Once I've paid for the flowers, our outlay will be about £500. We could have done certain elements cheaper (Marley could have fitted his existing suit, I could have opted for no flowers) but I still think we've done pretty well and kept to our MSE mindset.

Haven't finished the totaliser yet but I bought a bolero jacket (c.£15), paid for car parking (50p) and the flowers came in at £75. So I think the total will be around £450 :money:
