Operation slinky is failing (Marley keeps feeding me!). I think it will be the larger of the two dresses. Oh well, never mind - no point stressing:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls

How's it all coming together Tigster?
Got my own operation slinky going on, the dress I bought does not do up! We're a week in to our healthy eating plan and think we're both doing ok. Going to try it on again in a couple of monthsnew challenge?£1 a day for Christmas 2024 £367 / £366 ~Got married 24/05/19 ~ Credit CardDFW Nerd #1155 ~LBM 25/2/09 ~ Debt at highest £8,037.35 ~ £00 -
We're one week away from the big day (gulp!)
I have made plans for collecting and returning one Mother, and for entertaining said Mother plus other Ma&Pa during their stays.
Lunch after the ceremony is booked.
I have ordered a celebration cake from M&S (Ma insists we have something to cut) and have purchased bubbly. These have not added to our costs thanks to Ma's generosity
I have my suck-me-in knickers. They're not miracle workers, it won't be the smaller dress.
Plans for flowers are going well, ranuncununcununculas I think she said (I could have mis-heard) in a deep red.

Good luck for next week:j:jDogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0

Three days to go!!
Everything is in place. Dress has been ironed, as has Marley's shirt. He's polishing his shoes tonight. I'm definitely going to need the bolero jacket I bought, looking at that weather forecast (and an umbrella).
Pick up MIL tomorrow.
Pick up cake early Monday. Lunch with all parents on Monday afternoon.
Pick up flowers early Tuesday (Northern Rail willing!)
Dodge raindrops, get married.
Eat lunch.
Eat cake, drink bubbly.
Read MSE article about married couple tax allowance, go onto HMRC website, complete form.
Sound about right?:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
