Engineer didn't fix boiler - do I pay?

    Thanks everyone. I've not bled the radiators yet -I thought the heating needed to be on in order to push the water round so will it work with the heat off?

    Actually, you shouldn't bleed radiators when the heating is on, you should do it when then heating is off.
  • The system doesn't need to "push water around" when bleeding the system, but it does need to be pressurised. If the pressure drops drops when bleeding a radiator, it needs to be re-pressurised before bleeding the next one (just trying to keep things simple)
