Hi,
Sorry might not quite be the correct thread but best fit :-)
I'm flying to Spain from Birmingham airport in August. Can anyone let me know please of the best place to leave the car parking wise? Cheap firms/secure/drop off-on etc if anyone has any experience.
Thanks.

At home?
BHX has a train station.0 -
The wonderful thing about BHX is its rail connections. The smart thing to do is get there by train, not car.0

That might be an idea that is worth considering. The only drawback is taking 2 small children, but I susppose we did that for Disney. Would like to have a back for the car plan though too.0

Had a bit of an investigate an that's a bit of chopping and changing so I think I'm back to the car.0

When we fly from Birmingham, we use APH.
Book via Topcashback or use Tesco Clubcard points to get the price down.0 -
I use BHX a lot, and almost always use the train to get there. If you can't take the train I would look at how much a taxi there and back will cost compared to parking, because it's not cheap in any of the onsite car parks. On the very few occasions that I have driven I've used car park 2/3 (the same booking covers both) but only for a few days. You can sometimes get cashback on the booking through the likes of Quidco that reduces the cost slightly.0

Agree with the previous poster. We always use BHX and usually find a taxi (we live 35 minutes drive away) pretty cost effective and more convenient. Otherwise, we look out for special offers for Carpark 2/3 as they are right next to the terminal and under cover.0

We live in Coventry and use the buses and/or train.
For us, once we get into the city centre, we can catch the National Express West Midlands X1 service to BHX, takes about 35 minutes for about £4 each.0 -
We always use NCP car park 5 which is within the airport area and has a regular bus service to the terminal. You get cheaper rates by booking more than 120 days in advance.
I'm registered with them for email promotions and for the last few years they have sent out discount codes over Christmas and New Year which can be used for bookings months ahead. Discounts are sometimes up to 25%.0 -
Airparks has a car park about 10mins bus journey to airport, best option, area ropey but location good.
