My town seems to be overrun with Deliveroo riders, mostly on scooters displaying L plates or zooming along on push bikes with no helmets.
I saw one rider nearly tip over he took a roundabout so fast, another nearly rear end the car in front as he was so close and a bloke riding one handed talking on a mobile phone! All this in just 1 week.
I emailed Deliveroo with all these examples and the reply was merely ' thanks for your email I've forwarded it to the relevant people' !
I'm convinced its just a matter of time before someone is killed or seriously hurt.

Unless you had evidence you can't really expect them to do alot?Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -

If they are using Deliveroo branded boxes and that identifies them as working for them, then I would expect them to do something.
Deliveroo riders and similar have been getting bad press for their anti-social late night gatherings whilst waiting for work, riding badly, urinating in streets etc.
Deliveroo, like Uber, think they are trendsetting and innovative, but in reality are a scummy company. In that case it's up to them to police their riders and improve their poor reputation. The man without a signature.0 -
"Dear Mr Roo. I saw one of your delivery riders bracing in an unsafe manner while carrying out their duties on behalf of your company. Do something about it!"
There's not much you/they can do without identifying features (e.g. reg no).

The bosses email is will@deliveroo.co.uk
UI have emailed him before about a situation with one of their drivers, he personally answered my complaint0 -

I'd expect them to be concerned about the welfare of the riders and other road users and not to allow their company to he synonymous with dangerous practices.
If I had received a complaint I would have explained who I had escalated it to and what they were planning to do, not just brushed the customer off. If you saw a bus driving dangerously or postman swear at a customer or a tesco worker elbow a kid ( just a silly example) you would expect the company to take action. Maybe that's it? We have already determined Deliveroo are too incompetent to care.0 -
There is no reason for them to tell you how they handle things internally in their business.0

It's the same here -- bikes zoom along at speeds of up to twenty miles an hour!!! It's madness. Nothing like the lunancy of motorists, though -- some of them zoom along at thirty miles per hour or more!!!
And I never see motorists or pedestrians wearing helmets either. I've reported them to their employers, where possible, but no one seems that bothered. Funny, isn't it?0 -

There is. Good public relations.
If you make a complaint about a company they of course have the choice of not telling you if they have don't anything about it. The likely outcome is that you remain dissatisfied and spread your vitriol about that company.
I posted on another forum about an Ocado driver who made a risky overtake and forced an oncoming VW to scrape along a kerb. The Ocado driver just carried on. Ocado traced the driver from their route/gps and disciplined him. That's closure. The man without a signature.0
