    Hiya

Just want to recommend MONZO if you would like an account that comes with an app that helps to track your spending.

I got a MONZO account so as to be able to use it as my "General Spends" and so freeing up my Nationwide account to use as a savings pot.
I love it, all spends are tracked and categorised and you get a notification of every transaction almost immediately as you make it.
When I do my monthly budget I transfer my "General Spends" budget to the MONZO account and it keeps me in control :D :j

Aargh to the credit cards Pippi, that must have been a nasty shock when you finally got in there  It's so easy these days to be tempted to click on something, or even do it by accident, and the next thing you know you've signed up to an ongoing payment for something or other  At least now you have caught the little so-and-so's and cut off those particular gravy trains. Onwards and upwards!
  • Thanks guys I will look into MONZO and waves to all.

This is one of the reasons I've not gone paperless. I need that monthly reminder to check up on things. Someone had tried using our card last month, several small purchases, when we questioned it they said it's a well known scam, if it's not detected within a month then they'll use the account details for a larger purchase. Our card was cancelled and new ones issued the same week. Dread to think how much they could have spent otherwise.

Have a hug lovely lass ((((((())))))))) hope you're not bearing yourself up too much about the cards. Tis easily done, especially when dealing with difficult family situations. Lots of love to you all xxx

As you say, had down, sleeves up. You're in the right place to deal with it! :j and you are Queen of storecupboards and stripey things and squeezing pennies and you will triumph :money:

As for leaving a note out about the joy of chickens, well i laughed out loud :rotfl: (quietly, as I'm naughtily writing this in bed and Mr Cheery is still sensibly asleep) :rotfl: hoping to persuade a chum or family (and if all else fails a friend's husband just set up a dog sitting business a couple of miles away and will pop in each day of necessary although I'd rather someone was here and they could roam free).

Not got round to booking holiday yet anyway so it might never happen :rotfl: :o

Anyway, i suppose i should get up and let the ladies out myself in the absence of a chicken sitter :rotfl: looks to be a lovely morning here so I'll make a cuppa and go for a walk while I'm out :applause:

Hey up lovlies apols for radio silence I has been having some flu.

I don't recommend it. Pooky aye totally agree YIKES TO CC FRAUD, thanks for the heads up well done on catching it. - the crapitaluno card did something weird regarding app sign in and without authorisation on an old phone number I couldn't get in, couldn't get in without phone authorisation so it went round in circles until I phoned them, ironically they kept saying if you don't update us its paper statements for you. I didn't stop them to begin with. Mucho thanks.

Trog, Cheery you do make me giggle, GP cheers for the stripey vibe.

Waves to the gang. Paid this week but so sick whilst I have been at work (I know how bad that is) I've not spent a sausage.

Will make a plan later to pay some bits and bobs.

Nice to know the excess debt from the tax folks is paid, I do not care for any further reassessment.

    Need to skeeeedaddle.

    Have a good friday folks.
