Virgin Media have just asked me to sign a new contract, I got a good deal from them. I now have concerns as in the e-mail they stated that my January bill would be £44.30, but when I spoke to the person I had been dealing with at head office they stated it would be nearly £14.00 more than this. He has said that it doesn't matter what was said in the e-mail because he has told me the correct price over the phone, and that covers them legally. Is this correct?

Log into your Virgin acc ,You will be able to see from there what the bill will be
And then if it`s the higher amount i would be phoning them back up and tell them about the email you got
Why have you been talking to head office ,Or do you just mean customer services ?Have a nice day

you can't trust them one bit.
It's very common for them to give you a good price on the phone, and then when printed in black and white, be more expensive.
You have 14 days to sort it out.
There is no need for you to sign it anyway, it just becomes the contract after 14 days.
It may also be that you don't understand it correctly (the way they apply their discounts)0 -
i am having same problem with them
cancelled vm and ordered bt
they then offered me a very good deal over phone , over a week ago
my online account still shows old contract and my bill shows discount ending january 2018, i queried this , but just get reassurences over phone that i will just be paying what i have been promised for next 12 months and my payments will not go up
have requested email confirmation, which they say will send but never have done.
advisor just keeps repeating these details (like parrot) and says not to worry
in dilemma now as bt has delivered equipment to install on 27th
any advice appreciatedNice to save.0 -
