Which Credit Score do you believe?

Since the birth of Noddle and getting your credit report and rating for free, there are now numerous places to get your credit report and rating/score for free. The question is which one is accurate? and why are there such big variations between companies who supply the details via the same credit reference agency?
Looking at my own reports and rating/score they are poles apart even when supplied the same CRA.
Noddle 3/5 - score 568/710 supplied by Callcredit
Clearscore - Score 364/700 supplied by Equifax
MSE Credit club - score 731/999 supplied by Experian
Experian Free Credit Score - score 920/999
Experian through Barclaycard - score 685/999
Given the massive differences between who gives you what, how are people supposed to know which is accurate? Especially as the same agency gives 3 different scores depending on what platform you log in from.
Before people start lecturing about there is no such thing as a credit score, I am long enough in the tooth to know this. The point is why is there so much variation especially from Experian? I did contact them via email to ask about this but surprise surprise they declined to answer.
All these suppliers of scores suggest you use them to assess your score before applying for a new card or loan etc, MSE included yet they are all poles apart on how they rate you.
If anyone else is brave enough to put their scores on the door through the different platforms it would be good to get some comparisons and other opinions.:D

There's already a thread from last year somewhere where every one did this. It showed there was no consistency or pattern.0 -
My score is the sum.of Pi.
Because I like to make numbers up too0 -
Mine are all widely different
Free Experian 975/999
Clearscore 440/700 (this is apparently above average to them and can be improved with their offers)
Noddle 600/710 (they rate this as only a middle of the road fair score and if I buy a subscription to their service it will improve).
I think the free ones score a bit lower because they have services or commission from products they try to sell you to improve your score with them.
I get way better offers through noddle than through clearscore though.0 -
I've given up checking! When I first signed up with mse I had an 'excellent' score even though clear score was poor and noddle very poor at the same time! I'm hoping to get a mortgage next year or year after and worried I will be declined. My score goes up and down like a yoyo and half the time I have no clue why.0

It's the very nature of largely random numbers...0

The only score I have access to is Experian via Barclaycard.
My own company is a subscriber to Experian - we use it for searching people. When I searched myself using the company account, it gave me the same score which I had received via Barclaycard.
(Usually my score sticks at 999, but at the time it had dipped to 920 or something.)0 -
I believe they are all numbers.0

So you have one call credit, one equifax based, and three experian based. Giff Gaff also offer full report from Call Credit so if you want a comparison for Noddle you can also sign up to that one.
You have two questions, one is the difference between the three CRA, and the other is the difference between sites that are using the same CRA (e.g. 3 experian ones)0
