Breakdown cover for 2 family members (not spouses)
Options
Hi
just wondered if anyone had heard of "family membership" for breakdown cover, as my husband and son both need cover sorting out, and I'm looking for the best deal.
In an ideal world, we need standard breakdown/recovery + homestart service.
I'm considering 2 separate Auto Aid policies, only thing bothering me is that they give you no choice as which garage they take the vehicle to if they can't fix it at roadside, RAC/AA do..

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

Car and passenger recovery service to any UK destination
If your car can’t be repaired at the scene of the breakdown, we will arrange to take your vehicle, you and up to 5 passengers from the place where the car has broken down to any UK destination of your choice.0 -

Yes they do - they'll take you to the destination of your choice, as long as it's UK mainland. One reason why I prefer them over some other breakdown services, who will recover you only to their nearest approved garage - with AutoAid I can get the car delivered to my local trusted mechanic, and walk home from there in about 4 minutes0
