They will most likely install it into whatever waste pipework arrangement that you already have - it's not up to them to test that the Saniflo works properly

When you say 'is this OK' do you mean a) having the washer (mashing machine, I presume) in the basement or b) connecting it to the saniflo, or do you mean 'is a saniflo OK'?
I'm sure that if there was a W/M there before any appliance fitter will be able to connect to the existing fittings0 -
hi yes mean connecting the washing machine to the saniflo, rekon id be better getting a plumber to do it or let currys do it
cheers0 -
Well, personally, I wouldn't choose Currys but each to their own!
Do you have a decent local independent store?
Maybe they would 'supply and fit'??0 -
Saniflo systems really don't work well with washing machines from my previous experience . When we had a utility room built about 10 yrs ago, the builder fitted a sanibest system ( heavy duty saniflo ) to handle toilet , shower , washer . Every 12 to 18 months the unit would fail. Luckily always under warranty. Fitted 4 new units over a 5 to 6 year period.
Eventually they admitted that despite advertising it as able to handle a washing machine, that's what was killing the unit every time, ended up having to divert the waste from the washer to get longevity.
Current saniflo ( no washer connected) been in 5 yrs no problems0 -
.... If Currys can be flushed down the Saniflo, I think it confirms many an opinion of them....
OP. Given your doubts, and the mess that would ensue, maybe get a plumber to check the system AFTER a Currys install. But, they should fit anything into fittings, if fittings are there.0
