Hello all,
I have a asus c201p chromebook and when I plug it in the screen loads up but then dissapears after 3 seconds.
I have tried Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r but nothing happens at all.
I removed battery and put it back in but still doesnt work.
Any idea how I can fix this?
thanks all in advance

Take it back to where you got it, and ask for a replacement ..?0 -
If you've tried doing a factory reset as per the guide on the Google website, I would probably take it back to the retailer for replacement or repair.

Recently bought an Asus C101 flip ... it would randomly reboot, even running guest mode (no chrome extensions), after a power wash and even after a full OS recovery from a clean downloaded copy to flash drive.
Had it replaced, new one hasn’t crashed or reset once. But this one has an issue where it goes to sleep when the screen is flipped to tablet mode.
My opinion on ASUS stuff was never terribly high, but the C101 fitted a specific work need. If I could find the same form factor in another manufacturer I’d swap in a heartbeat. As has been suggested, get it swapped out and hope the replacement doesn’t have the same or a different fault.3.6kWp Solar PV with 14kWh battery storage - Octopus Go Faster 5h & Octopus Gas Tracker tariffs.
