Credit Club having Christmas break?

Options
Applying for credit shortly and just realised that my monthly email advising that my credit report has been updated didn't arrive.

Have tried logging in via the MSE home page but the once I have inputted my credentials and are transferred to Experian website it then just times out.

Anybody else having this problem?

  • I received my email a couple of days ago and I'm still able to login, sounds strange though.
  • Just tried again with the same results, could be my IT set up but that wouldn't explain the lack of an email.

Mine is fine but I haven't had an email since April when the full Experian report was added to the MSE site.

Also, my full Experian credit report is on the MSE site so I don't follow why you were transferred to an Experian website.

Perhaps an MSE staff member will post an official comment.

I've had no email. Not tried to login in though. Given up worrying about scores...

The MSE credit club gives you your full Experian credit report updated once every month. This is really nothing to do with (credit) scores
  • I can't even get through verification. I got as far as step 3 and it won't accept my card saying I have to use a different one. I have one other card but I can't get back to step 2 to select a different bank provider. So I'm stuck. No way to log out or go back a step which seems like a bit of a flaw in the site.
  • Email arrived this morning, all appears to be working now.

I would have thought it is all an automated service rather than someone pressing a button to send out emails each day. I could be wrong.

If it was timing out it may well be at this time of the year more people are checking - I'm sure there must be a spike in December as people try to fund Christmas with credit.

I think you’ll find you are transferred to Experian for verification.
I came into this world with nothing and I've got most of it left.

Yes, you are transferred to Experian for verification but I do not believe that you are transferred to an Experian website. It is all done within the moneysavingexpert.com website.
