This happened to my father-in-law. We were all suspicious but it checked out, and he was actually on the programme!
I think they charged him 30%, but in return he was put back in touch with long-lost cousins, and we asked for and were given a copy of the family tree, which was fascinating in its detail.They call me Dr Worm... I'm interested in things; I'm not a real doctor but I am a real worm.

I had an heir hunter contact me and my brothers and sisters a few years back. We were entitled to my (deceased) dad's share of a long lost relative's estate - we ended up with the grand total of about £6 each!0

Sounds very exciting. As long as you don’t pay them money upfront and careful what info you hand over it should be ok ( and check them out further) .
