very old bankruptcy and plevin payout from later this time

Im just trying to clarify if i have this all correct as everything now states if you were bankrupt the money can be taken.
if the the payout pertains to an account that is opened after your bankruptcy period and discharge this was back in the 90s when i was a not very sensible nipper and the period was 6 years. Then the money is yours.
from what i can work out they can only take it if it is from the period of the bankruptcy and term and not if it is open and from years after discharge?
i.e i was discharged in the late 90's after serving my 6 years, and this was from an account opened in 2004 and still active?
Can anyone confirm I'm correct from what I've tried to interpret on the FO's website?
