Good bluetooth kits for the car?

Personally i have an Alpine CDE126BT which has built in parrot bluetooth. The clarity is pretty good. Mic comes out of the rear of the unit & i put it up near the rearview mirror. Job done.
My wife was going to get one of these units but then her car was written off. The car she's got now she's going to keep the standard head unit in place so an independent bluetooth unit would be required for taking calls hands free.
Now i don't want to spend like £500 but at the same time i don't want to spend just £50 and have a crappy unit that you're constantly saying what? Can you say that again? You sound like you're in a wind tunnel/under water etc etc etc.
So i'm wondering what you'd need to spend to get something worthwhile without going OTT for a stack of say features that the average joe wouldn't even need.
We'd be getting someone to fit it by the way. The car for the record is an Astra H - so where would you mount this unit? I'm guessing the mic would be either near the rear view or at the top of the A-pillar but what of the unit itself?

I'd say a Parrot would do you just right. There are quite a few models available all with various feature levels.0

Agree with nodding onkey. I had a parrot 9200 in my last car and it performed very well.0
