Virgin Money Regular Esaver Issue2

I've been waiting for this issue to mature today, 20th December 2017, as specified in the documentation and in the account details when I login. At least that what it said when I last looked at around 15:00 this afternoon. But when I logged-in at 16:15, the maturity date now states 21st December! Anyone know why the delay?

Edit: Oh, what a mistake to make! It is of course Virgin Money not Santander!

This is quite strange, it exactly the same situation at Virgin Money. My Regular E-Saver Issue 2 with Virgin was due to mature today, and I've just logged on, and it's now tomorrow.

Exactly the same for me. Logged on to move my matured Virgin funds & noticed the date change.

Agreed that its very, very coincidental.

    Ditto, ditto.

I have sent a secure message/complaint - it is not so much waiting the extra day as the discourtesy of their not advising customers that this was to happen.
  • Mine was due to mature on the 20th. Checked yesterday and still shown as a Regular E-Saver. Checked again this morning and it has changed to a Easy Access E-Saver Reward Issue 12. Same account number.

Maybe maturity was at 24:00 hours on the 20th.

Now what to do with the money, p*ss poor rates still all around.

Mine had had the interest added & converted by about 10pm last night (20th).
Smile and be happy, things can usually get worse!
