Teletext problem-missing lines

Over the last few weeks, when I view teletext (on any mainstream channel) through the TV, some of the lines of text are missing. Sometimes the whole page of text doesn't display just the info line at the top with the page number, date and time etc. then if you wait a few minutes it will display when it refreshes the page.
The television itself is fine, its not new, but have no problems with the picture quality or sound on any channel and this hasn't happened before.
I'm in the East Lancs area picking up Winter Hill transmitter.
Anyone else had any problems, or is it the television on the blink?

More likely to be a problem with the part of the signal carrying the data.0
