Auto aid versus insurance bundle

Just for information: I tried two separate companies - LV= and Saga to incorporate breakdown into my motor insurance but, even when pressed, they came nowhere near the Autoaid 15 month £43 offer mentioned in this week's MSE email. So thanks to Martin and the MSE crew for leading me to this :money::j.

Although in the past Autoaid were a good option (I was a member myself for a couple of years but never needed to use them) the general consensus was that they went very quickly downhill when they were taken over several years ago. Has that now changed? If not it may be that you get what you pay for.0
