Help Stop Further PCN Abuse In Scotland

I received the following email as a victim of the Kinnoull Street parking extortion racket form Murdo Fraser MSP. Please help us stop the sharp practices by using the online form to join in the consultation about what we need to do to stop this happening again.

I can't post the link due to lack of privileges so you will need to google search it.

I am emailing to let you know, in case you did not already, that the consultation on my proposed Regulation of Privately-Operated Car Parks (Scotland) Bill is now available on the Scottish Parliament website
Look up

Please consider completing the consultation survey and encourage anyone interested to contribute their responses too, as the more responses we have the more weight will be given to any legislation that follows.

With best wishes,

Murdo

This is where the proposed bill is rubbish ...

"The bill aims to examine the introduction of keeper liability"

    http://parking-prankster.blogspot.co.uk/search?q=murdo

Keeper liability (regardless who was driving)

An open door for the cowboys to extort even more money.
Scottish courts will be swamped with fake claims

Murdo needs to be a professional and just put a stop
to this scam because this bill supports the cowboys

Murdo appears to be clueless about the scam IPC/IAS

Hope you have also posted this on Pepipoo.com, if not it would be a good idea. join up but don't try to use a hotmail email as it won't work.

Perhaps he is not as clueless as we think. The Scottish Parliament Register of MSPs Interests shows that he is a professional, a professional lawyer and member of the Law Society of Scotland. Perhaps he and those behind it in the Scottish legal profession want a similar slice of cake to those south of the border.

My solicitor is a professional and over many years
    has given the best advice.

I do not class Murdo as a professional if his mindset
is to support known scammers and fill up the scottish
    courts with suspect claims.

If he was professional, he would be working for
fairness for the people of scotland.
His bill hardly does that ?

Reminds me of the Sheriff of Nottingham so where
is the scottish version of Robin Hood ?

I want to examine the introduction of keeper liability, which would help operators to identify those who would become liable for penalties.

Key phrase. He is a bought and paid for PPC stooge. How KL identifies the driver is debatable - and the wet dream of the BPA.

    You've been warned.

I hope you are gong to reply and tell Murdo what he can do with the idea of 'keeper liability' which has led to thousands of court cases clogging up the English and Welsh courts in recent years and creates liability where it should never exist.

Make it clear that the parking industry is out of control and does not need a leg up to pursue victims like they were handed in England.

Like IamEmanresu said, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

We DO NOT support what Murdo is doing.

I did complete the survey - have told them what I think they need to do (and not do).

Please do complete the survey, we must warn Scotland not to make mistakes like keeper liability.

    Done.
Went heavy on keeper liability, amongst other things pointing out the resulting problems down south.
