Hi. I'm a London student who's interested in doing extra work, and I took a look at albamodel's website for more information. In their modelling FAQ, they say:

Can I have more than one agent?

Yes provided that they are both not in the same area or they will clash on jobs. Better to have one in say London, Birmingham and Manchester. However, if you aim to be in a profession which stipulates exclusivity you must be sure of which one agent/ manager is the best for you and do read any contract properly and know what the contract actually means before you ever sign a thing!

Does this just apply to modelling, or can you sign up to multiple extra agencies at once (considering the work's not going to be that regular anyway)? Or is it the case that once you sign up to one agency, you're exclusively theirs?

Oh yeah, and can anyone tell me anything about Ray Knight Casting? I saw the name here and thought it was just an extras agency and that you generally didn't need experience, but on their site, they ask for some performing or media experience. Would you have to send a CV to them?

Why would you pay ANY upfront fee to a legit agency? There are very legit ones like Casting Collective who charge no upfront fee. I've used them from both sides, as an extra myself and employing 200 extras for a project

Just saw something that I thought my OH could do, went through the process then right at the last knocking they say "upgrade for full membership", £5, shall I bother?

I no this is a old post but. Lemon casting is a scam an people should know.
they said to me it was £40.00 for photos so I paid that on my meeting day. They got me a first job hardly any info on the jobs it was far away a 12 hour day. I got my invoice and my pay was Nill it actually said NILL and I neva got a job offer after that they scam u and have no work AVOID them
