LLoyds Club to Classic

Hi
is it possible to change a Lloyds Club account to classic without going in to a branch? I am having cash flow problems at the moment and no longer use the regular saver, so want to downgrade to Classic to avoid the fees. I cannot see this option online and there is no way of messaging them.
I phoned them and they say I have to go into the branch as there is a 3/4 hour waiting time on the phone!
Thanks in advance

I am not a Lloyds customer so I cannot help with that part of your question, however you can cycle the £1,500 into and out of the account from savings held with another bank, if you have them. You do not need to have £1,500 income every month.0

Yes I did it recently on the phone. It takes about 20 mins as it's effectively a new account application. They will ask you why you want to downgrade - I said my circumstances had changed and I was earning less than £1500 a month
One wierd thing was that about a month later I got a cheque from the magazine company as pro-rate refund for the magazine subscription I had as part of the club lloyds package0 -
Log in,
open a classic account,
switch the club account elsewhere.
