Washing machine turning off intermittently

Bosch washing machine, probably about 7 years old is turning off (led lights go out) and on again during a wash cycle. The cycle then seems to stick, so have drained machine and started the cycle again successfully. This has happened about 3 times now, but other cycles have worked without issue inbetween times.

The glass on the door seems very hot, but cannot be 100% sure if it is hotter than normal. It needed a new fuse about a month ago, so am wondering if this is what caused it.

Any ideas? Not sure given the age if it's worth trying to fix, unless it is something simple.

For how long do the lights stay out? When the lights illuminate again does the machine pick up from its previous point in the cycle? Is the plug a moulded plug or one that you/someone else fitted? Reason for asking the questions is that it could be a loose cable or loose screw in the terminal. Could also be a loose cable or screw in the socket.

LIghts go out for no more than a minute or two and it starts back where it stops, but then seems to stick.
It’s a moulded plug, that was there when we bought the house. Haven’t done anything with it, other than change the fuse. So unless something happened then

This happened on a Bosch machine we used to have - they changed the control circuit board in the end under warranty. I suspect there's a dry joint in there somewhere - probably an easy DIY fix if you know how to solder.
