M&S sofa

I've had my M&S sofa for a year and the entire time we have had it the cushions sag and the base of the sofa dips in the middle. The upper back cushions sag and look unsightly any time someone stands up after sitting. Even though it is supposed to be a 3 seater sofa, the person who sits on the dip basically feels like they are not sitting on cushions and they are just flat. When we bought the sofa there were 2 options - the first was the type of cushions that require constant plumping and turning and then a second option which required limited plumping and turning. We chose the latter option.

However, we had a technician visit and assess and he told me there is nothing they can do - we just need to be constantly plumping them. The foam in the base cushions that dip is standard and used in all major sofa providers such as Next etc and there's nothing we can replace that with. Is this right?
