I see they claim to have been to 4,000 parking hearings, but they are too scared to state how many wins.

From a forum search here for ‘SCS’ the very first mention of them is just 12 months ago (12/12/16). I can’t believe they have been operating in the private parking sector much before that, or we would have surely heard of them much earlier.

So in 12 months they have attended 4,000 parking hearings - ~80 per week, every week for a whole year. Wow, that’s either some going (and we’ve hardly heard of any actual court hearing case involving SCS), or there are one or two porkies at play?

Humiliation is not a word that I would use, they seem to have got off pretty likely i.m.o.

What about all the time and effort the appellant had to put in to fight this ill considered claim. What about the judge taking the solicitors to task for failing to prepare properly. What about wasting court time.

The Prankster is going out of his way to be sued for libel, when is someone going to oblige?

You cannot be held to have libelled someone, if what you are writing is true.

Parking Eye tried to get some heavyweight firm of solicitors (real ones, not the fake plastic Gladstones or SCS variety) to threaten the Prankster some years ago, I believe.

When confronted with the evidence to support the statements made in his blogs, they folded their tent and slunk off into the night.

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.

I am aware of the case Mr C, I am also aware of Wilde v Queensbury.

What do you think of the Judge's behaviour?
