LOL! Sadly I think you'll be disappointed - you get a small fireworks display from the metal parts, and that's about it

I quite agree with Rafter... you're all mad!rafter wrote:Your all mad
Probably worth destroying the chip because it can tell you the card number which could then be written onto a magnetic stripe cloned card in theory.
However, the pin encoded on the chip is safe for now. The chip never reveals what the pin is, it just says 'yes' if the right pin is entered.
From my limited technical knowledge, snapping the black bit should do the job, although so will a flame thrower and shreader!!!!

I never imagined that there were so many ways to kill a credit card. Evil things."...And I gave that man directions, even though I didn't know the way, 'cause that's the kind of guy I am this week." -- Homer Simpson0 -
It's so easy for parents of babies. Cut up the card and push the bits into baby's latest nappy (used, of course). Can't imagine any hacker wanting to delve into that, though he/she would have a nice story to tell:
'Hey, found this baby that s---s little bits of credit card. Would you believe it?'

All this high tech stuff. I simply put mine in my back pocket, and by the time i've walked to the city centre, all retailers find it impossible to read, and no amount of wiping it on their sleeves brings it back to life!Well life is harsh, hug me don't reject me.0

After cutting the card into smaller pieces - you could always vacuum half of the chip part up (along with a few pieces of the card if you like... throw the rest in the dustbin.0
