Does this all sound normal?
Please don't make us re-type what's already here umpteen hundred times.
It's also fully covered in the NEWBIES thread second post about what happens when, where it already tells you about this tactic by Gladstones, so you could have been expecting it.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi,
Once completed, is it acceptable for the directions questionnaire to be scanned and emailed to the appropriate people?0 -
What does post 2 of the newbies thread tell you to do?0
-
I know, but I have also read on here that they accept via email also.0

Not all solicitors accept via email. So you need to work that out.
As long as iti si served, it is served.0 -

Follow nosferatu1001's advice for the Claimant's copy.0 -
Hi All,
I came back off holiday to find a Notice of Transfer of Proceedings, which I expected.
However they seem to have gone with the Claimants preferred County Court as opposed to mine, as the Defendant I thought I had the choice.
Am I wrong here?0 -
You are not wrong, if you are not a company Defendant.
As an individual, you do have the choice so the CCBC got the transfer wrong. Ring the CCBC tomorrow (takes a long time for them to answer) and tell them.
If they do not sort it, then when you get a Notice of Allocation from the 'wrong' court Judge, write straight back and point out the court's procedural error and point out the preferred court that you stated in your DQ N180, and get it transferred.PRIVATE 'PCN'? Thank you CM, I will do that tomorrow!
I was sure I seen you amongst others on here advise that it was the Defendants choice.
Many thanks0
