I registered for lightspeed but I've heard nothing. But Im a member of valued opinions and toluna. But as im single and living on my own I find its really slow. Do you have to have special criteria or something lol.0

I've had the same experience with Pinecone over the past couple of months.
I've also found the same thing happening with other online survey companies - a distinct drop in the number/frequenecy of surveys and/or the value of rewards on offer (most noticeably with Ciao).
I would assume this is linked to the downturn in the economy. Hopefully, when the economy picks up again in a couple of years time, things will return to normal. Until that happens, I'm limiting myself to surveys that continue to offer a decent reward. There is no way I'm going to spend 20 minutes completing a survey for 10p or entry into some prize draw (where the odds of winning are likely to be miniscule).0 -
The good thing with Pinecone is that they tend to send out good samples!
Iv had a pack of nappies and a pack of baby wipes inthe last month...Might not sound much but its saved me a bit of cash aswell as earning me a few quid.
Maybe just depends on what criteria groups you're in?0 -
I've recently joined Opinium Research & Mediatransfer. Was just wondering if anyone else is with them and what they think of them? Also joined Panelbase.net months ago. They pay you when you reach a minimum of £10, but my account's been just under that for ages.... am starting to think they keep you hovering there, just under the payout level
Any opinions?0 -

As a very general rule, most of the big manufacturers (foodstuffs, cleaning products etc.) are looking for the opinion of the main shopper/cleaner in a family with at least one full time working adult so the most invitations tend to go to mums in the 30-44 age range with young children. However they always need a cross section so you will still get some work, but just not as much. The key here is quantity - sign up with all the big survey sites and even if you don't get many surveys from each one, there's sure to be something daily from one or another. Use one of the free survey directoreis like http://www.whichsurveys.com and just work through the list. Sites like GfK which look at tv viewing, and big international companies like GTM and IPSOS aren't geared as much towards shopping and can be more active.0 -

I've been a member of Mediatransfer for over a year, and my account just seems to have remained frozen on 55 MT's:mad:
I joined Panelbase.net about 4 weeks ago with high hopes and got a £3 survey immediately. Since then...0:cool:
To be honest, the only survey sites that are worth their salt are Pinecone, Valued Opinions, Globaltestmarket and OpinionBar.0 -

Thanks, think I'll ditch Mediatransfer and wait until I finally get to £10 with Panelbase, then call it a day with them. Someone very kindly sent me a referral link for Pinecone, but I couldn't join because I live in Northern Ireland. Really annoys me that some survey companies don't recognise that we are part of the UK too. :mad:0 -

I have been with panelbase for a while, and have had more than one pay out - however I have not had a survey from them in about 2 months - so I wonder if they just haven't got many surveys at the mo?0 -

PineCone research is looking for male consumers to join our panel! If you have ever told a friend about receiving £4.00 for doing surveys for PineCone Research, it is likely that they have asked, "How can I join?"
Well, now you can tell them how to become part of this elite group of households. We are offering select members the opportunity to recommend membership to a friend or relative who is NOT a member of their household.
Do you know of households that would like to join the PineCone Research Panel? If so, please FORWARD A COPY of this email to each household you would like to refer so that they may click on the registration link shown below. That household should complete the registration form themselves and submit it. REMEMBER THAT ONLY ONE PERSON PER HOUSEHOLD MAY REGISTER. Multiple registrations of the same Household will void all registrations.
PM me if u want referal with your email first come first served0
