Well we can add 2 more sets of household questions with no paid survey to my gripe about Pinecone.0

Hi I'm very keen to start working from home and thought I'd start by registering with a on-line survey site. I've received a reply from A1 paid surveys and i just wondered if anyone knew anything about the company. Also when other companies say they are going to post banners on other unspecified website, how do you find out about these?
Thanks0 -

Personally I have never signed up to A1 or any of the similar sites (that act as agents)- that take a cut of your earnings and I think it is false advertising as I know a lot of people who do surveys but none of them are making the kind of money that this site claims. It would be interesting to see what other people on here say about this?
As for finding banners it is a nightmare! I used to search in google by typing company name and the word banner - and I would find stuff but it would have expired - I did eventually get a link about three months after I initially started looking.
Why not try signing up direct to the survey companys that have a reputable name - if in doubt look on here

It ranks survey sites based on user reviews. HTH0 -

Has anyone had an email from pinecone research asking if they would like to join what it says is thier sister company Neilson Online?
I haven't joined up with them yet as I wasn't sure what to make of it, is it worth joining Neilson Online?
I'm already a member of pinecone research and the email said they were sending these invites to a select few pinecone research members for Neilson Online but my daughter got one aswell so I wondered possibly that they they sent the invites out to just about everyone?Thanx

I have also been invited by pinecone to this other site, but not that keen to join .Just because your paranoid does not mean they are not out to get you ! :rotfl:0

I started to sign up to the other site but it said you had to download something which monitors which websites you visit. It means you have to select who you are out of your household before logging onto the net each time. I didn't finish signing up. :SLooking for well paid market research panels...
Can you help?

I got that email too, but the rewards don't look worth the hassle, so I think I'll give it a miss.Conquering the debts one penny at a time.....0

Hey guys, first time poster, long time lurker. I have a question about this. I'm looking to get into this for a serious length of time, but also plan on travelling for a couple of months in about 2 years. During that time I won't be taking part in surveys, will that mean I'd lose membership to these sites, would they send me less and less surveys, or would it make no difference?
I know that's a long time away but thought I'd ask as the question struck me when going through this thread.0 -

For most of the survey sites this would not be a problem and I go in and out of phases of doing these. But, some of the good companies can remove you from their lists if you miss/or do not respond to their survey requests (e.g. ipsos, lightspeed and the one that shouldn't be named - but has been in some posts above). I would go ahead and use these sites and in two years time you might have had enough of doing the surveys and if not, if you are still going away I would e-mail the relevant sites and forewarn them of your absence.
