  • I got an email from Lightspeed saying they were reducing the point value of their surveys slightly. Those of you that do Lightspeed surveys look out for further new on this on their website.

I've just received and completed a couple of surveys today that were still paying 110 points and at the moment the points per gift vouchers are still unchanged so it doesn't seem to have taken effect yet. Couldn't find anything more on their site either so do you know when these changes are due to start?
  • I've done a few for Lightspeed just lately as well and the points have been the same 110. They didn't say when the new points system would start.
  • After everything I've said recently about Ciao, I thought I'd better redress the balance with some better news. It looks like they are now moving into the product trial section as I've just been acepted for a trial of a new toothbrush and "Iso-Active foaming gel" toothpaste. Admittedly payment for the qualifying survey was still only 10p and an entry into the £25K draw, but there's also a draw just for testers of an entertainment system worth £2,850 and since I can't imagine they have thousands of testers there's a realistic chance of winning.
  • Does anyone doe any surveys for VOP? if so do you get plenty from them and how do you get your nector points?

VOP are one of the more active panels, including diary series where you answer a series of surveys over a period of a week, but they don't pay you in nectar points - that's TNS, (now just renamed MySurvey) who did just automatically send points to your Nectar account but this may have changed now as they are now also offering Amazon vouchers.

i think valued opinions is a conn!! i was a little dubeuous to begin with as some people reccommend it, and others slam it. the first few surveys were fine. banked the cash on my username. but whenever i took part in a larger surveys, i'd complete them - actually be on the page that says "you have completed this survey - click here to collect your reward" - the page would go dead. nothing! this has happened several times now. i think i have spent several hours filling out surveys on this site and have £1.75 to show for it - which might i add is only redeemable when you have at least £5.

i have tried emailing them on several occasions and everytime i get a failure to diliver reply from their system - not an msn failure to deliver message. the site seems like a BIG CONN!!!

my advice - STAY AWAY!!! big waste of time

I Agree, I have only done one survey but half way through the page went dead. have e-mailed a complain, they tell me that it is a techical difficulty, nothing they can do.

The following comes from their terms of use:
"Only one account per mailing address is allowed." so unfortunately you can't both have an account.

    Hi everyone
This my first time so be gently with me!
Can any one advise were to start to achieving £20 per month on a regular basis? I have read this thread and I am getting the impression that most people are disappointed with the return for their efforts. Have I got this Wrong?
    Best Regards

£20 a month is perfectly achievable - I myself tend to earn £50-£100 in an average month and I don't respond to anything like all the requests I receive. The problems are that many people expect to see immediate results and that the work isn't regular. You can get 3 or 4 surveys in a week from one comany and then nothing for a couple of months, or get screened out of everything. You also need to remember that most companies have a minimum payout so you won't have anything to show for your work for a few months, and that in many cases this will be in vouchers (usually your choice from a range) rather than cash.

The best thing to do is to sign up for all the big companies (Global Test Market, IPSOS, Valued Opinions, Toluna, Lightspeed etc.) and then gradually add the smaller ones. Use a good free survey directory like whichsurveys.com and a free tool like roboform for automating the form filling process
