Aqua -2 increase

That’s my 2nd aqua card increased 600-900 limit today.
A nice suprise I wasn’t expecting.
1st Aq increase was 600-1100 a few months earlier
2nd Aq increase 450-900 today in writing.

Think they mean 2nd increase.

My initial limit was 900 pounds and just after 3rd statement they doubled it to 1800.

So fairly swift in increasing limits...

Wish they would do a balance transfer though..

I applied summer for this 2nd card -1st statement July 17.
6 months approx for this 2nd card increase.
Can’t remember amount of months for 1st card increase though at a guess I’m almost certain it was more than 6 months.

I did once call Aqua to request both cards to be combined though was advised it wasn’t possible as I shouldn’t have 2 cards-doesn’t explain the accept for the 2nd card online.

I did use a Aq 0% 6 mths balance transfer for a few hundred a few months earlier
Disappointed I couldn’t mange to clear the balance.

I'm surprised you got 2 cards...very surprised.

But then Capital one couldn't find my account..they kept asking is it this account (must be the various cards they do under other brand names) after six accounts all of which were nothing to do with me (never held them cards) they said oh well we cant find your account,can you try another day.:eek:

If they dont know what they are doing...maybe Aqua are no different

Customers aren't supposed to have multiple cards, but NewDay systems don't automatically prevent it.

Instead, they will occasionally do a clean up to close down second cards (leaving the best rate card open).

It does say on the application not to apply if you already have a card.

But you can get another Newsday issued card after 12 months e.g. marbles
